Hi, I'm Aven!
I'm a 26 year old from Michigan, USA working on my debut novel, Tandem. I also write drabbles and poetry when the mood calls to me :)
I love writing about people defying the odds when hope seems far. Sci-fi romance feels like a pretty natural genre for that - it's the perfect genre to explore love in unlikely space (literally). I feel that the best sci-fi doesn't predict the future (at least - I hope not). Instead, it holds a mirror up to who we are and how we behave in the present day.
When I'm not world-building, you can probably find me playing video games or reading.
